We had a blast hosting the 2023 Markham Cycles season. We were thrilled to offer full in-person programming at both our community bicycle hubs at Milliken Mills and Centennial Community Centres as well as at our partner locations.
Programming this year included DIY Bike Repair, Group Rides, Bicycle Lending Library, and our very popular Recycle to Ride bike giveaways. Overall, our programming engaged 3647 participants, with 806 bikes fixed and 179 bikes given away for free. With each program, we worked to ensure that Markham Cycles continues to build bike culture across the city and make it easier for people of all ages to begin and continue cycling. Kudos to all the staff and volunteers that helped make our season a success!
