Learn how to fix your bike with help from our friendly staff and volunteer mechanics at no cost.
A lot of commons issue on a bike can be easily repair using simple tools and techniques. This program allows participants to gain hands-on knowledge to repair issues on their bike to get them cycling again.
Repairs available but aren’t limited to safety checks and assessments, adjusting fit of bike and seat height, pumping tires, tightening brakes, checking shifting, oiling chain and flat tire repair. A collection of used parts are also available if needed.

DIY Bike Repair is available anytime our community hubs are open for drop-in hours.
Service is operated on a first-come, first-served basis. In the event that all repair stations are occupied, you may have to join a line.


Terms and conditions:
- There are no appointments, and you must sign up for the waitlist in person
- We cannot lend tools while you are in line
- Wear clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty
- If you are looking for full-service bike repair, please visit a local bike shop.
**Do-it-yourself means that we offer the tools and knowledge for you to fix your own bike. You will be advised on necessary repairs and proper procedures by our staff and volunteers. We have all the tools and parts needed for basic bicycle repairs. If you have major repairs, we will recommend you to a local bike shop.
