Markham Celebrates Earth Day

Celebrate Earth Month with the City of Markham!
Join us on April 20 from 10 AM to 3 PM at Markham Centre (Downtown Markham) for our Earth Day Celebration!
This free event is for all ages and will provide you with fun and educational perspectives on environmental initiatives. We have an exciting array of attractions, including free electric vehicle (EV) test drives, a sustainability fair, live animals, children’s story time, prize giveaways, and more.
Markham Cycles will be hosting a pop-up community bike booth at the event. Learn about cycling and active transportation here in the City of Markham as well as initiatives our organization is promoting. Bring your bikes and receive a free safety check or light tune-up to help your start riding for the season.
This year, we are teaming up with Cycling Without Age. Check out their trishaw and learn about accessible cycling for seniors.
