Get your bikes ready — Markham Cycling Day is returning for another exciting year! 🚴‍♀️

Markham Cycling Day is a free community celebration that invites riders of all ages and skill levels to discover the city by bike with friends and family. Since launching in 2008, this annual event has brought together residents and visitors alike for a fun, active, and family-friendly day of cycling. As part of the event, the Tour de Markham Group rides invite participants to explore the city’s cycling routes, trails, and neighbourhoods in a fun and active way. Whether you’re riding with family, friends, or on your own, these rides are designed to encourage people of all ages and abilities to get outside, discover new routes, and celebrate cycling in Markham.

All routes are self-guided and can be accessed through the Ride with GPS app for easy navigation. Directional signage will be provided along the 5 km, 8 km, and 15 km routes while 25 km, and 60 km will be self directed. Check out the routes on the city’s event webpage.

This year’s event will take place on Main Street Unionville by the bandstand.
