We had an incredible time hosting the 2024 Markham Cycles season! This year, we were thrilled to offer a full lineup of programming at our community bicycle hubs at Milliken Mills and Centennial Community Centres, as well as through our amazing partner locations and special events.
Our programs included DIY Bike Repair, Group Rides, the Bicycle Lending Library, and the highly popular Recycle to Ride bike giveaways. In total, our programming engaged over 1900 participants, with 1300 bikes repaired and 410 bikes given away for free. Through every program, we worked to strengthen bike culture across Markham, making it easier for people of all ages to start and continue cycling.
A huge shoutout to our incredible staff and volunteers for making this season such a success!
