DESCRIPTION:Join us for a family-friendly\, leisurely paced\, guided group ride through Markham’s Rouge Valley Trail. \nWe will meander through the Rouge Valley Trail through Unionville Village and Milne Dam Park. The ride will be at a leisurely slow pace with breaks and rest stops. \nRides will last around one and a half hours with distances from 10-15km. \nBring your own bike and helmet to ensure the best ride. Snacks and water are encouraged as well. \nDon’t own a bike? Borrow a bike for the duration of the bike ride as part of our Bicycle Lending Library program. \n

DESCRIPTION:Get your bikes ready — Markham Cycling Day is returning for another exciting year! 🚴‍♀️ \nMarkham Cycling Day is a free community celebration that invites riders of all ages and skill levels to discover the city by bike with friends and family. Since launching in 2008\, this annual event has brought together residents and visitors alike for a fun\, active\, and family-friendly day of cycling. As part of the event\, the Tour de Markham Group rides invite participants to explore the city’s cycling routes\, trails\, and neighbourhoods in a fun and active way. Whether you’re riding with family\, friends\, or on your own\, these rides are designed to encourage people of all ages and abilities to get outside\, discover new routes\, and celebrate cycling in Markham. \nAll routes are self-guided and can be accessed through the Ride with GPS app for easy navigation. Directional signage will be provided along the 5 km\, 8 km\, and 15 km routes while 25 km\, and 60 km will be self directed.
