DESCRIPTION:Temporary relocation of Milliken Mills bike hub to the soccer dome/McDonalds parking lot due to construction: \nClick to enlarge\n  \nJoin us for a family-friendly\, leisurely paced\, guided group ride on Milliken loop. \nWe will meander through trails and cycling infrastructure throughout the neighborhood. The ride will be at a leisurely slow pace with breaks and rest stops. \nRides will last around one and a half hours with distances from 10-15km. \nBring your own bike and helmet to ensure the best ride. Snacks and water are encouraged as well. \nDon’t own a bike? Borrow a bike for the duration of the bike ride as part of our Bicycle Lending Library program. \n

DESCRIPTION:Registration is mandatory. One item per registered guest. Register on the York Region Repair Cafe website \nA Repair Café brings together people with items to repair and volunteer fixers willing to share their skills and tools. They inspire people to repair items as an alternative to just throwing them away. All you need to do is show up with your broken item and any replacement parts your repair might need. \nBring in your small appliances\, jewelry\, toys\, clothing\, bicycles\, electronics\, and other items in need of repair. Our volunteer fixers will do their magic. While you’re there you may just learn a trick or two! \nThe Repair Cafe is provided in partnership with The Regional Municipality of York and NewMakeIt. \nVisit the York Region Repair Cafe website for more information on volunteering\, what can be fixed\, and other Repair Café locations.
