This event has been postponed to our official rain date of Sunday, Sept 22nd. If you have registered for a food ticket, it is still valid for Sunday. Please cancel tickets if you can’t make it to reduce food waste. Timing and event schedule remains the same.
You are invited to our end-of-season community barbecue group ride. The ride will start at our Centennial Bike Hub at 10:15AM. The ride will be at a leisurely, family-friendly pace, open to all ages and will be around 10 km long, taking place in and around Markham on trails, quiet residential streets and local cycling infrastructure. After the BBQ, we will embark on our ride back to Centennial Bike Hub.
This is a free all-ages, family-friendly event, open to Markham Cycles participants, volunteers, their friends, families, and anyone interested in riding bikes in Markham with other people who like bikes! Registration is required for a food ticket. Everyone is free to join the group ride.
Participants are to bring a working bicycle to the event. There will be no bike loan.
10:00AM – Meet at Markham Cycles Bike Hub in parking lot of Centennial Community Centre
10:15AM – Group ride departure to Milne Park
11:00AM – Arrive at Milne Park, food is served
12:30PM – Group ride back to Markham Cycles Bike Hub
